On the Labor of Boredom.

Strange Factory is a spontaneous, site-responsive Guerrilla Performance depicting the Inner World as a forgotten cabin nestled inconspicuously within a desert landscape — a metaphorical purgatory where an estranged part of the Self appears bored, suspended, restless.

The cabin shown was my actual residence at the time, filmed one morning without planning or preparation. The decision to wear a mask was similarly incidental, born not from theatrical intention but from the simultaneous desire to be both seen and anonymous.

The concept of Bored Labor surfaced as I reviewed the footage. In retrospect, the gestures, compositional “accidents,” and seemingly indifferent choices revealed a subconscious structure.
