Informed Consent.
By participating, I acknowledge that:
I am voluntarily engaging in a research-based performance art project exploring themes of Ethical Power Exchange, Ascribed Status, Social Mobility, Intimacy, Taboo, and Identity.
I understand that while the project may draw from Kink + BDSM language or frameworks, it is not a sexual exchange.
I have the right to withdraw consent at any time, without penalty or explanation.
I understand that all participation — verbal, written, visual, or performance — may be documented for archival and artistic purposes with my explicit permission.
I consent to participate in V for Vicious Project.
I understand the boundaries and context of the work.
I may opt in or out of documentation (photo/video/interview) separately.
1. Independent Role. The Artist is providing creative services only. Nothing in
this Agreement shall be construed to create a partnership, joint venture,
employment relationship, or agency between the Artist and the Client. The
Artist has no responsibility for, and makes no representations regarding, the
legality, safety, business operations, decisions, or conduct of the Client.
2. Intellectual Property & License. The Artist retains all copyright and other
intellectual property rights in and to the Artwork. The Artist grants the
Client a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Artwork
solely for the specific purposes and in the manner expressly stated in this
Agreement. Any additional or different use requires the Artist’s prior written
Consent.
Portfolio & Display Rights. The Artist retains the right to reproduce,
display, and distribute the Artwork for self-promotional purposes, including in
the Artist’s portfolio, website, social media, marketing materials, and
exhibitions, provided such display does not disclose the Client’s confidential
information as defined in this Agreement.
3. Indemnification, Defense & Personal Responsibility. The Collaborator shall
personally defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Artist and the Artist’s
agents, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands,
actions, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses, including reasonable
attorneys’ fees and court costs, arising out of or relating to the Client’s
business activities, conduct, statements, representations, or use of the artwork. The duty to defend applies immediately upon notice of a claim,
regardless of ultimate liability.
The Client agrees that this indemnification obligation is a personal,individual responsibility and is not contingent on the existence or solvency of any company, business entity, or organization with which the Client may be associated.
4. No Endorsement. Display of the Artwork by the Artist does not constitute an
endorsement or association with the Client or the Client’s business, products,services, or activities. The Client shall not state or imply that the Artist
endorses or is affiliated with the Client’s activitie
Boundaries.
All collaborators are expected to respect the following:
Autonomy: “No” and “Stop” will always be honored immediately.
Confidentiality: All personal information remains private unless mutually agreed upon for public use, not including, performance footage, stills, dialogues, artworks, BTS.
Non-contact: Physical touch occurs only when explicitly negotiated and agreed upon in writing prior to beginning the Dialogue or Performance.
Check-ins: Check-ins are for the purposes of maintaining attunement throughout the Dialogue and/or Performance. Collaborators are responsible for informing Kait Vicious of their desired frequency before co-creating.

Red = Stop immediately
Yellow = Pause and assess
Green = Continue, consent affirmed
I understand and agree to these safe words.
I will communicate clearly if I need to pause, stop, or renegotiate any activity.
Expectations.
Participants agree to uphold the following:
Approach all interactions with mutual respect, curiosity, and emotional responsibility.
Refrain from behavior rooted in aggression, coercion, or manipulation.
Arrive grounded and sober — no intoxicants during sessions.
Allow space for debriefing or emotional integration if intense experiences arise.
Understand that V (artist/facilitator) holds the creative and ethical container, not authority over the participant’s autonomy.
Understand the expectations and agree to uphold them.
Documentation + Visibility.
Collaborators are credited and presented on V4V Official Website, including their Bio, Artist Statement, and Portrait.
Collaborators understand that there are no personal recordings permitted.
Collaborators consent to the sharing of any stills and clips on V4V digital and social media platforms and website, according to boundaries mutually agreed upon.
Collaborators have worked directly with V4V to create boundaries and anonymity as desired.
Collaborators understand that V for Vicious Project is the sole creative property of Kait Vicious and cannot be shared, promoted, marketed, advertised, recreated, reimagined, adapted, or sold without written consent from Kait Vicious.
Collaborators understand and agree to the documentation, visibility, and property terms.
