What is this?

Collaborating with V for Vicious Magazine involves documented Dialogue and Performance, neither of which require any preparation, though coordination and planning are encouraged. Nudity is neither required nor encouraged, but welcomed.

This work functions in practicality as a counter-culture magazine, intersectional forum, and index for evolving ideas on the nature, history, and nuance of Identity and Social Mobility.

Dialogue.

  • Step One: First, I’ll ask you some basic questions (below), and a few more questions about yourself, your creative work, your sexual preferences, desires, and experiences, as well as some logistical questions in a Google Form. Fill in the Google Form by clicking the link below. Your responses are private, unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Step Two: Next, I’ll invite you to my studio, where we’ll discuss some of those questions + concepts on camera or off camera, agreed upon beforehand, as part of V4’s Interview.

    Questions:

  1. What roles do you play in your personal, professional, familial, creative life? (What do you do for a living, who are you in relationship to others)

  2. How do those roles influence your Intimate Partner Dynamics?

  3. How would you describe Dominance + Power Exchange + Consent + Submission, to someone hearing these terms for the first time?

  4. Describe your current relationship to money.

  5. Describe your current relationship to your Body.

  6. How satisfied are you in your creative life?

  7. How satisfied are you in your sex life?

Performance.

Step Three: We’ll review the Consent Agreement again and talk a bit more specifically about individual parameters.

  • Step Four: the camera is rolling and we will conduct our co-created Scene.

  • Example Somatic Immersion Scene:

    • We cover you in paint – either Myself, yourself, or a team effort, depending on boundaries + desired level of anonymity, all discussed beforehand.

    • Next, we’ll move around, roll around, scream, laugh, cry, express ourselves on the canvas.

  • And cut. Final words from you on the experience + closing portrait.
